Golden Square Launches Studio SQ

Golden Square is delighted to announce the launch of a new division, StudioSq. Headed up by ex Mill Nuke artist Rod Norman, Studio Sq is set up to provide creative solutions for clients with projects that require a combination of resources and skills.

Having a number of different tools at their disposal, primarily Nuke, Studio SQ will work with a fresh and innovative approach to projects. It will bring together different skill sets within Golden Square on a project by project basis, from illustration, 3D computer graphics and compositing, enabling the teams to work closely together, utilising the best software for each job to achieve the best results.

Executive Producer Ewan MacLeod says “In this competitive market, we needed to look at alternative ways to approach projects particularly ones that have challenging budgets. By using new technology and running the projects differently, we are able to take on creative projects without having to sacrifice quality in the process.

The business model of post production has changed enormously over the last year, I see Golden Square more as a creative shop providing post solutions to our clients rather than a traditional post house. StudioSq gives us another weapon in our armoury so that we can facilitate the most demanding of projects without having to compromise on the quality of the work and also provide the service that Golden Square is renowned for”.
